Implementing 1-to-1 learning with technology initiatives is much more complex than simply distributing computers to students and teachers. Based on the learnings of Maine and other initiatives, this wiki explores the two critical components (teacher practice, and leadership), and four necessary but supportive components of successful initiatives (technology access & support; professional development; partnerships, and funding).

At the NECC08 SIG Forum, 87 educators with an interest in 1to1 joined together to brainstorm where their successes are with these components, and their challenges.  Explore the fruits of their labor below:
