- Do an RFP based on what you want to do with it, not tech
- Give laptops to everyone
- Avoid the platform wars
- Seek out a tech lead who can insure the system works so teachers can teach and kids can learn
- Seek out a "We'll Make It Work" team
- Use kids - iTeams
- Realize that breakage is about school culture, leadership, pedagogy, & engagement

Training for students via pre-recorded video on demand
The role out was extremely organized with scanners and bar codes in multiple role-out stations (550 laptops in one hour)
The students have been serving as tech aids.

Have a campus technician at each site. Two at the high schools.
Use students for support. Train them as Dell certified trainer.
